How to REALLY get the Charisma Bobblehead

If you’re like me, you started your character with 5 Charisma and wanted to get 6 Charisma (for Local Leader obviously) but found the Charisma bobblehead to be annoying.

A lot of guides tell you the quest is bugged and you need to go around and hope you find the guy called Edward Deegan after killing all the guards around the Parsons Insane Asylum. This is not needed. There is a much faster and guaranteed way to get to him.

Here’s what you do:

1. He’ll be in the so called Cabot House (use this to find it). Go there.
2. This house is unfortunately HEAVILY guarded by a mean Sentry Bot and a Mister Handy (not Gutsy, don’t worry). Protip on how to deal with the Sentry Bot below.
3. There will be a mild speech check to enter. I recommend having a moderate Charisma stat and that you wear charisma boosting suit, hat, and glasses.
4. Once you enter: BAM. Edward Deegan found. You can now start the quests.

Protip for the Sentry Bot: Let it shoot at you without you getting hit. Once its weapons overheat you aim for the Fusion Cores on its back for massive damage.
