So, you want to play Nuka World, but you also want to protect all those emaciated Tato farmers you’ve grown so attached to. Like Romeo and Juliet you are torn between 2 worlds, one of sexy and exciting raiding with cool cats who wear teddy bears and one lame loser land where you make sure boring identical peasants have enough mutfruit and mattresses.
Well ♥♥♥♥ that metaphor because it is entirely possible (using some console commands) to make this doomed romance work. Simply follow these simple steps and you can be a Minuteman General in the streets and a Raider Overboss in the sheets.
Play through the game like normal until you start the mission ‘Home Sweet Home’
This is after a whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the story missions when Gage suggests you take this Overboss show on the road back to the commonwealth. Like with most console command centric fixes, you should probably save right about here.
There is some loser in a fedora named Shank who you SHOULD NOT talk to. Yet.
Before you talk to Shanky, open up that console with the ~ button. You might have to turn it on in options first I don’t remember. Now you have to trick the game into thinking you finished all of the commonwealth settlement invasions.
First, take note of how many DLC’S you have, including the not terribly important ones.
In the console you want to type in:
The xx will be how many DLC’s you actually have, if you have the season pass then xx will be 06. Don’t forget to lead with that zero or your console will yell at you.
If you put the right command in the console, the game just skipped the mission Home Sweet Home and put you right into the mission Power Play. Finish that♥♥♥♥♥♥up and you can power the park up and enjoy all that nuka world has to offer, without slaughtering the raider bosses or doing anything that might make your waifu sad.
Keep in mind, if you ever decide to take over a settlement after Power Play for your Warboy’s then Preston Garvey will hate you forever, no matter how many times you’ve banged him. Also remember that the game is more fun when you don’t even use this stupid fix, and give yourself fully to the dark side.
