I think that Fallout 3 is one of the best games ever made.

I hate cheats, but they can help the new players in their adventure.

If you want to fully enjoy Fallout 3, please don’t read this guide.

I’m not responsible of any damage caused by the incorrect use of this cheats.

Most of this cheats work also with Fallout: New Vegas.

Console and Basic Commands

In order to use the cheats, you must open the Console.

Press the button ~ or the button \ on your keyboard to do it.

Then, you can type all the commands you want.

The following are basic commands, not cheats.

help

a list of command.

search commands by name.

quit

quit the game.

Save *

you can create a saved slot with a custom name.

Main Cheats

Cheats that help you in the Game:

Toggle God Mode (Infinite Life, Action Points, and Ammos).

Toggle No-Clip.

Show all Map Markers.

Hide all Map Markers.

Kill *

Kill the selected Entity in Select Mode.

KillAllEntities [or killall]

Kill all Entities in the area.

Resurrect

Resurrect an Entity in Select Mode.

DisableAllMines

Disable all Mines in the area.

Unlock

Unlock the selected Door, Container or Computer in Select Mode.

Lock

Lock the selected Door, Container or Computer in Select Mode.

How to do it:

Make your player watching the entity
Open the console
Left click on the entity
Digit the command

When you select any entity, his name and his ID will show at the top of the screen.

If there are multiple entities where you clicked, use the mouse scroll to select the correct one.

Select Mode commands:

Kill

Kill an entity.

Resurrect

Resurrect an entity (Don’t use it on your player!)

Unlock

Unlock a door, a container or a terminal.

Lock *

Lock a door, a container or a terminal. You can also set the Lock Difficulty.

+ (50 to 74: Hard)
