So I just proposed to my girl Maru, then went to the beach and the Old Mariner is back and he sold me another mermaid pendant.
I’m kinda confused as I haven’t seen him since I bought the pendant ages ago and I definitely didn’t think you could buy another.
Does anyone know what will happen if I try to propose to another villager? I don’t want to try and risk messing my save up.
Tl;dr: Proposed, Old Mariner came back, bought another Mermaid’s Pendant, want to know what will happen if I try to propose again.
Answer: It’s been done, they’ll just say “aren’t you married?” or similar. You can get it so if you want to later divorce and marry someone else you don’t have to wait for a rainy day.
