Mass Effect – Must have mods

Hey guys, I was thinking of doing another playthrough of the series and I was curious. What are the must have mods for a better experience for each game. Are there any massive graphics overhaul mods? Anything for new weapons or armor? I apologize if this has been posted before but will appreciate any answers!

Best Mods

This is a basic enough modlist, made to improve, restore and fix what’s already there, not to add radically new features. I like my games close to vanilla, but more and better wherever possible.

FOR Mass Effect 1:

• MEUITM – the first set of high-res textures
• ALOT – the second set of high-res textures
• Mouse fix – raw mouse input support
• Improved Mako controls
• Faster elevators
• Controller support

FOR Mass Effect 2:

• ALOT – high-res textures
• Dark shader fix – prevents details from getting lost in darker environments
• Faster loading screens
• ME2Recalibrated – bugfixes, tweaks, restored content
• No minigames
• Controller support

FOR Mass Effect 3:

• ALOT – high-res textures

IMPORTANT: ALOT for ME3 will ask you to download additional textures by other creators, which are not included because of permission reasons. The ALOT installer will guide you through this.

• ME3Recalibrated – bugfixes, tweaks, restorations
• Backoff – dialogue and companion relationship overhaul and fixes
• Controller support
• Respawn – on certain missions, you will face different enemies based on your past choices
• Better dreams – no chasing kids in slo-mo

FOR Mass Effect Andromeda:

• MEA fixpack – bugfixes and lots of them
• Nightwolf’s misc mods – Tweaks that did not make it into the fixpack. Pick what you like from here.
• Mark all as read fix – the mark all as read function can get stuck sometimes
• Havoc strike fix – to get a bit more out of Liam in combat
• Electrical conduit fix – fixes the attachment so it works as intended
• Firearms rebalanced – brings all guns in line, and makes them more useful on higher levels
• Right in the eye – tweaks dialogue cameras to feel more natural
• Faster Kadara doors – so they don’t take ages to open anymore
• Dialogue annoyances remover – you can choose to disable/lessen several annoying repeating comments and dialogues
• All the character textures by Ellise – they are HUGE improvement over the vanilla butterfaced people. Can’t recommend this enough.
