Ahh, welcome to my guide on the Last Prism. For those who don’t know, the Last Prism is a drop from the Moon Lord (Roughly 11.11%). It is shaped like a prism as it is a prism. When used, it fires 6 beams in different directions but not more than 180 degrees from where the original beam source is. Each beam deals 100 base damage to any enemy that comes into contact. The Last Prism has a base critical strike chance of 4%. Every enemy that comes into contact with the beam takes 100 damage 10 times every second.
The Secrets of the Prism
Ahh, welcome to my guide on the Last Prism. For those who don’t know, the Last Prism is a drop from the Moon Lord (Roughly 11.11%). It is shaped like a prism as it is a prism. When used, it fires 6 beams in different directions but not more than 180 degrees from where the original beam source is. Each beam deals 100 base damage to any enemy that comes into contact. 10 hits per second.
100 damage per hit.
10×100= 1000. Roughly if an enemy were to come into a contact with a small beam then they would suffer 1000 base damage (minus the armour).
After four seconds of all 6 beams in random directions, they all begin to converge into one large laser. This laser roughly has a 4x bigger hitbox than the smaller ones and upon contact, deals 600 base damage to enemies. There is a downside however to this relatively OP weapon. It takes a long time to turn, turning around at 25 degrees a second. This makes it quite hard to aim. Another downside is the mana cost. It sucks up a LOT of mana. I’m talking about 72 mana a second. I will tell you how to reduce this.
What you need are plenty of mana potions. Preferably actual mana potions rather than lesser, and even better greater mana potions or even super ones. You will need a Mana Flower (-8% mana cost and replenishes your mana supply by automatically consuming a mana potion in your inventory, triggering the mana sickness buff but reducing the initial debuff by at least 45%). This can be combined with Nature’s Gift (-6% mana cost.) This totals up to -14% mana consumed. Still pretty low eh? Another thing that is essential is the Magic Cuffs. (When you are damaged, your mana is refilled by 2x the damage you take and it increases your maximum mana by 20).
All of these accessories should have Arcane to give a total of +60 maximum mana. So far you should have 280 maximum mana. This still isn’t enough. Obtain a full set of Nebula Armour. The Nebula Armour will drastically increase your capabilities with the Last Prism by increasing damage output, increasing CSC and decreasing mana cost by 15% as well as giving a mana boost of +60 maximum mana. That is 340 maximum mana you have right now. Pretty good. The next step is the trickist. Obtaining a Last Prism with the Mystic modifier.
The Mystic Modifier is a very good modifier as it increases your CSC, damage, speed and most important gives an extra -17% mana consumption. All in all, this totals to a marvelous -46% mana reduction. Combine this with your extra mana, instant mana replenish from damage and potions and reduced consumption. You will be able to fire the prism on FULL charge for the maximum amount of time. One full minute. That equals to over 360,000 damage. Enough to wipe out the Moon Lord.
I hoped this helped and good luck on your magey Last Prism stuff.
