The sensitivity is too high.
- press the pause button
- select “options”
- turn all the “look” and “aim” sensitivities down to about 20
When using a PS4 of Xbox1 controller the button for firing may not work.
- just go into your steam overlay by pressing “shift + tab”
- controller configuration
- “Game” tab
- select the button used to fire (on PS4 this is R2)
- select “soft pull action” (which should be blank)
- select “fire weapon”
After doing this my controllers have been working great. I hope this helps someone enjoy the game.
